In Brief: Irwin Mitchell staff return to classroom; Brewery launches charity challenge; and more

VOLUNTEERS from law firm Irwin Mitchell have been teaching economics classes at Bingley Grammar School in Bradford as part of a scheme run by the Young Enterprise Education Programme.

Liam Freeman, Chris Robinson, Natalia Rushworth-White, Chris Widdison, James Hemming, Wesley Blackburn and Katie Norman, all trainee solicitors at the firm,
shared their experience with teenagers from Year 8 about the fundamentals of business finance and the skills needed through interactive workshops.

Partner Jane Horton said: “We are delighted to be part of this project. Encouraging young students to think about current money matters and enterprise gives them a head start when approaching a business environment in the future.”
