NATIONAL accountancy firm, Baker Tilly, has appointed a new head to its Professional Practices Group (PPG) across the North of England and Scotland.

Steve Carter joins the firm from GLF Carter Richards and has previously been a partner at BDO Stoy Hayward.

Mr Carter specialises in advising firms on raising finance, risk management, profit improvement and succession planning.
