Morrisons continues fight against price-fixing claims

SUPERMARKET chain Morrisons and rival Tesco are continuing their fight against claims that they were involved in collusion to push up the price of dairy products.
The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has issued further evidence to support its findings in 2007 that the supermarkets had been involved in boosting prices of dairy products five years before.
Both the supermarkets are contesting the OFT's findings while rivals have admitted their involvement in anti-competitive practices and accepted fines.
