MAILWAY Packaging Solutions, the Bradford-based contract packer, has added to its burgeoning spectrum of services with the acquisition of Wakefield firm Perpack.

The deal, which is for an undisclosed sum, sees Mailway add flow-wrapping to its contract packing services and is hot on the heels of expansion into Scotland and the South.

Richard Bramma, Mailway's chief executive, said that the acquisition formed part of the firm's strategy to develop into a "truly national" packaging solutions business.
