MORE than 400 jobs have been created since work started at a £30m Yorkshire business park, its developer has claimed.

Hull-based Wykeland Group said its work at Meltonwest Business Park near Hull was countering the economic downturn and the slowdown in the construction sector.

One of Yorkshire's biggest food distribution centres is being created at the business park and will be home to Heron Frozen Foods, which has 140 stores across the North and Midlands selling branded frozen foods.
