A FOUNDER of Yorkshire’s Viking Fund, Andrew Burton, has been named as the new chairman of the Yorkshire Association of Business Angels (YABA).

YABA, which puts entrepreneurs and companies seeking finance in touch with private investors, said the announcement had come at a "pivotal point" in the body's development.

Mr Burton previously spent seven years as secretary of YABA until 2004.
