AN online sports network based in Leeds has been officially voted as the UK’s most popular rugby website.

According to statistics compiled by Hitwise, Pitchero.com took 18.5% of all UK rugby website traffic beating RFU.com to the top spot.

Pitchero was launched in 2007 to allow amateur and semi-pro sports clubs to create a bespoke, free club website within a wider online sports community.
