COAL producer and mine operator ATH Resources has won its appeal against the refusal of planning permission for a 500,000 tonne coal scheme.

The Doncaster-based business will now be able to develop the proposed regeneration scheme at Langton, Nottinghamshire.

Derbyshire County Council originally turned down the application but has now agreed to give planning consent.
