Eskimo is fit for Christmas thanks to SI

Eskimo the Reindeer
SURGICAL instrument maker Surgical Innovations has helped to carry out what is believed to be the first keyhole surgery operation on a reindeer, helping the animal get to Christmas in good health.
Leading vet Romain Pizzi successfully carried out the surgery on Eskimo, a reindeer at Edinburgh Zoo, removing one of his testes, which had been lodged in its abdomen since birth.
Leeds-based Surgical Innovations donated some of its specialist surgical instruments for the operation.
