Country needs to export and start saving, says think tank

THE UK economy has moved out of a decade of debt and into a decade of painful readjustment, according to the latest Ernst & Young ITEM Club quarterly forecast.
The influential think tank said today that after years of relying on domestic spending and borrowing the economy now needs to rebalance towards saving and exporting, or risk stagnating.

We lag behind virtually all our international competitors thanks to his spending beyond our means policies. Once again we shall be seeing a new Conservative government inheriting a bankrupt economy left by Labour. When will the electorate learn..,. it happens every time.
