SURGICAL Innovations, the Yorkshire surgical device manufacturer, has struck a three-year deal to supply one of the largest group purchasing organisations in the US.

The Leeds-based business, which specialises in tools used during keyhole surgery, said the deal would give it access to 2,200 hospitals.

Its US distributor, Surgical Innovations US, has agreed the deal with the group purchasing organisation (GPO) which helps its member hospitals reduce costs by buying in bulk.
