George's Great British Kitchen at The Light in Leeds

A new eatery specialising in British cuisine is creating 60 jobs in Leeds.

George’s Great British Kitchen is opening at The Light shopping centre in May 2017.

The restaurant is looking to recruit for over 60 jobs, including chef, kitchen management and front of house roles.

George’s Great British Kitchen first opened its doors in 2015 in nottingham.It also opened a restaurant in Newcastle in 2016.

As well as English classics including fish and chips, it will serve cocktails at its gin bar.

Stephanie James, marketing manager at The Light, said: “We’re so excited to welcome George’s Great British Kitchen to The Light in May. The restaurant has an exceptional range of quality British food and its menu certainly whets your appetite. We’re sure it’ll be a fabulous success and is certainly a welcome addition to The Light.”
