West Yorkshire warehouse snapped up

A 10,870 sq ft hybrid warehouse in West Yorkshire has been snapped up in a deal which the agents said reflects a “buoyant freehold market”.

Acting on behalf of Soro UK, Cushman & Wakefield and joint letting agent Walker Singleton have sold the premises on Lowfields Business Park in Elland to Smith Brothers Contracting Limited.

The self-contained warehouse comprises 4,352 sq ft of warehouse space and 6,518 sq ft of offices over two floors.

Scott Morrison, senior surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “This sale demonstrates the current buoyant freehold market in Elland where freehold opportunities remain scarce.  By implementing a proactive marketing campaign, we were able to attract significant interest from a number of parties and ultimately secure a sale at a very competitive price on behalf of our client.”
