Head along to Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre this weekend to see Coronation Street and dinnerladies’ star Shobna Gulati in the coming-of-age play Anita and Me. The story follows Meena, a young girl growing up in the only Punjabi family in a 1970s Black Country mining village. The Stalls Mother’s Day Makers Market
Head along with your mum to the Mother’s Day Makers Market at Leeds Corn Exchange on Saturday. Britain’s favourite choreographer Matthew Bourne is set to return to his roots in Early Adventures at York Theatre Royal this weekend. The programme will consist of Bourne’s hit pieces that saw the birth of his company New Adventures, which brought Swan Lake, The Car Man, Edward Scissorhands and Sleeping Beauty to life. Disney on Ice
Disney on Ice are bringing their 100 Years of Magic tour to Leeds this weekend. Taking place at the First Direct Arena, the kids will be in for a real treat with this show celebrating the very best in Disney. Over 50 Disney characters will take to the ice, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Cinderlla, Ariel, Frozen’s Elsa and Olaf and many more. Treat your mum this weekend and take her along to a bouquet making workshop.
