Business improvement specialist Applied Acumen has relocated from Leeds to Harrogate as part of recent growth within the company.

The company has chosen Hagg’s Farm Business Park for its new headquarters.

MD Keith Armstrong says: “The superb facilities at Hagg’s Farm allow both for the recent company growth and future expansion. We are delighted to relocate from Leeds to Harrogate, and in addition to the offices we have in Cirencester, we also opened an Eindhoven office last year to support the growth of work we are doing in the Netherlands.”

Applied Acumen works across Europe and the US.

Armstrong said: “Companies are facing more and more challenges in the business world, including rising costs, weaker sterling, the New Living Wage, and the other associated challenges that come as part of Brexit.

“Material availability and migrant labour will also provide increasing challenges as the UK commences its exit from Europe. The opportunities Applied Acumen can provide a business in terms of improving productivity, efficiencies and cost saving are only going to continue to increase.”

With consultants located throughout the UK, Applied Acumen works in the food sector, as well as manufacturing and distribution.

Armstrong adds: “If we don’t deliver – you don’t pay. This approach has resulted in us consistently delivering across different sectors and different areas of business over the last 15 years, in over 120 successful programmes ranging from smaller companies to multinationals.

“We look forward to continuing this success from our new base in Harrogate.”
