Yorkshire hairdressing group makes the cut for L’Oreal awards final

Yorkshire salon group Westrow, which celebrates 30 years in business this month, has secured a place at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards 2017 Grand Final.

Jody Toner, artistic director at the group’s York salon, went head to head with more than 40 of North East England’s most talented hairdressers to secure his spot at the grand final in London on June 5, where he will be competing in the L’Oréal Men’s Image Award category.

The overall winners in each category will pick up a prize package, which includes a European Trip to shoot their winning look and a fashion shoot with a leading consumer glossy magazine.

Westrow director Steve Rowbottom said: “We are ecstatic that Jody will be competing in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final. There is a real sense of excitement and achievement in the salons, and the whole group is so proud that Jody has been recognised for his work.

“Westrow has scooped the trophy in both the men’s and women’s L’Oreal Colour Trophy award at the Grand Final in previous years, and we hope this year will be another award-winning one for Westrow.”
