City centre move marks New Chapter for recruitment firm

FMCG and retail brand recruitment firm New Chapter has relocated to MEPC’s Wellington Place development in Leeds city centre.

The company will occupy more than 2,000 square feet of the third floor of 10 Wellington Place.

The move, has formed part the firm’s ambitious expansion plans, which has seen the company grow from a team of two recruitment professionals 12 years ago, to more 35 across its Leeds and London offices.

Mike Lowery, managing director of New Chapter Leeds, said “When it came to selecting our new offices, we had a long list of things that we wanted due to a number of factors key to the business but ultimately, we were looking to create a great place to work and do business. In order to attract and retain the best people, we believe in the idea of a creative workspace, which is what we’ve achieved with the help of Absolute Commercial Interiors, which conducted our office fit-out to include a pool table, bar and chill out areas.

“Outside of this, we needed activities and services that would help the team bond, which is why Wellington Place is the perfect place to base our operations. We’re already looking to set up our own five-a-side football team thanks to access to MEPC’s all-weather pitch, in addition to encouraging our more musical team members to join the Wellington Place Choir.”
