Rolls Royce showroom to open in Leeds

Stratstone is investing in a Rolls-Royce showroom in Yorkshire.

The purpose-built facility will open on Gelderd Road, Leeds in 2018, with construction beginning later this year.

From the site, automotive retailer Stratstone will sell new and used Rolls-Royce cars. It said it is making a “significant” investment in the site and will create several jobs for the area once operational.

Trevor Finn, chief executive at Pendragon PLC, said: “The opening of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds represents a significant investment for Stratstone and continued expansion for us as a business.

“We had a strong start to 2017 and this is an excellent opportunity for us to continue to diversify our business and will help to deliver further growth for both parties.

“We’re already well established in Yorkshire, with several dealerships and retail centres in the area, and look forward to continue providing luxury motors to people from across the North of England.”

Stratstone, which sits under the Pendragon PLC umbrella, currently represents manufacturers including Ferrari, BMW, MINI, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin and is well established in Yorkshire.
