‘Prime’ residential development opportunity brought to market

A “prime” residential opportunity with planning permission for up to 169 houses in West Yorkshire has been brought to the market.

Set in the Thornhill Lees district, the 15.1 acre brownfield site is situated 1.5 miles south of Dewsbury’s town centre.

Alex Sweetman, director at GVA Yorkshire, said: “We are pleased to be instructed to market this site. Unique residential opportunities like this don’t come on the market very often.

“We expect to receive significant levels of interest as the site has a huge amount of potential. It lies adjacent to an established housing estate with surrounding amenity and related infrastructure, including the now fully-sold Calder View scheme recently undertaken by Miller Homes.”
