Having worked there on and off for the best part of 20 years I am already really familiar with our customers and am looking forward to keeping it thriving for the enjoyment of the local community.

“We intend to continue to run the pub to its current high standards, serving a variety of traditional pub grub, local ales and quality beers, wines and spirits and will also be refreshing some of the internal décor.

“The support we have received from Michael Ward and the team at Royal Bank of Scotland during the acquisition process has been excellent. The funding process has been handled very smoothly and he has been on hand throughout to provide assistance.”
