North Yorkshire development site sold for £700,000

A 1.5 acre development site in North Yorkshire has been snapped for £700,000 in a deal which signifies “healthy demand”, according to the agents.

The land is adjacent to Croft Farm at Biggin, near Selby, and is a 1.455 acre site for residential development with outline planning permission for five detached houses.

Adair Paxton, the Leeds estate agent, completed the sale within a month.

Bruce Collinson, director at Adair Paxton said: “This land had been delayed coming onto the market through various legal and selling hold ups.  Once we were commissioned it went through quickly.  Knowing the right customer and not necessarily holding out for big bucks is always the shrewd way forward for success.”
