5 things to do in Yorkshire this weekend

Popular stand-up comedian, director and musician Stewart Lee is set to take to the stage at the West Yorkshire Playhouse on Sunday night. The show, titled Content Provider, is his first after four years writing and performing in his TV show Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle. The show starts at 7.30pm. Not managed to get a Sunday ticket? Head along to Burton Street Food Market at The Burton Street Foundation on Saturday. The event will bring some of the very best street food traders from around Sheffield together, giving visitors the perfect opportunity to indulge in a whole range of flavours. Let’s Rock Leeds! Returns to the city on Saturday. The event is set to bring visitors the very best of the 80s, with plenty to do for the whole family. Acts set to take to the stage include The Human League, Tony Hadley, ABC and Howard Jones. There is going to be a Wild West Weekend on Saturday and Sunday at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. There will be a packed programme of demonstrations, object handling sessions, museum trails and talks across the weekend, including Tin Can Alley Games and Knife Throwing Demonstrations alongside drawing sessions, film screenings and live music.
