City apartment scheme launched

The second phase of an apartment scheme in Sheffield has been launched.

Knight Knox’s £4.5m development, which comprises 46 one-bedroom apartments – 10 of which are luxury duplex penthouses – is located adjacent to the sold-out Palatine Gardens Phase 1 on Roscoe Road in Shalesmoor.

Construction of the new apartments, which will be spread over two wings and enclose a communal landscaped garden is underway, is scheduled for completion in Q3 2018.

The development, which is Knight Knox’s 79th project, is located close to the Shalesmoor Supertram stop and a short distance from Kelham Island, one of Sheffield’s premier new urban villages, offering a range of restaurants and bars.

Andy Phillips, commercial director at Knight Knox, said: “We’re thrilled to be expanding our Yorkshire portfolio with the launch of Palatine Gardens Phase 2, whilst also contributing to Sheffield’s impressive regeneration.

“With employment opportunities rising and the city’s population predicted to boom over the coming years, there is a huge demand for high-end apartments so close to the city centre and we can’t wait to see the response. With the success of Phase 1 in mind, they’re sure to be a hit with the people of Sheffield.”

Crossbow Construction Management will act as the contractor for the scheme, which has been designed by architects Coda Studios and, once complete, will be let and block managed by Intus Lettings.
