Victoria Gate Casino promises knock out night for Mayweather-McGregor fight

Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds has announced it will be beaming the Floyd Mayweather v Conor McGregor fight live from Las Vegas next month.

Victoria Gate Casino, which has capacity for 1,400 people, aims to build on the success of its sold-out Joshua-Klitschko fight and will be selling a range of packages for the event on Saturday August 26 through to the early hours of Sunday morning.

Victoria Gate Casino will be beaming the sold-out fight live in three viewing areas – including the giant screen in Live Bar, which is the biggest indoor TV screen in Leeds.

Patrick Noakes, venue director at Victoria Gate Casino, said: “This is one of the most hyped boxing bouts in history and will have one of the biggest ever global audiences, so we’re pushing the boat out to provide one of the best table experiences in Leeds.

“Our last boxing night was so popular we had to turn hundreds away, so to avoid disappointment we are pre-selling drinks and guaranteed seat packages from £20 per person – once they are gone, it is a case of turning up early to ensure a spot in front of one of our screens.”
