Developer invests £14.5m in Leeds city centre project

Developer KMRE Group is investing £14.5m in a city centre residential project at Mabgate Gateway.

The Leeds-based developer is set to deliver 92 apartments at the Mabgate Gateway, which consists of two buildings.

The first, a former commercial building, will be part demolished and rebuilt, while the other is a brand new building situated on what is currently an open air car park.

With two renowned universities on the doorstep, and an economic output of £56bn a year, Leeds is the 2nd largest finance sector outside of London.
