Developers snap up 60,000 sq ft West Yorkshire mill

Developers ATZ Developments have snapped up a 60,000 sq ft mill complex in Batley, West Yorkshire.

Hickwell Mills, was sold to ATZ developments by Leeds-based property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall.

The mills comprise of 16 units, which are currently let to eight tenants.

Jonathon White, industrial agent at Sanderson Weatherall said, “We are delighted to have secured this site for ATZ Developments and the sale for the vendors.

“The site is a great acquisition for ATZ with the individual units currently producing circa £57,000 per annum providing a strong return on their investment.

“With tenancy agreements expiring throughout 2018 and 2019 the site provides ATZ with a number of excellent management opportunities, as well as the option to explore the redevelopment potential of the site, subject to necessary consents.

“We experienced good levels of interest for the unit as demand for income producing assets across the region remains strong with relatively few opportunities currently coming to the market.”
