Leeds Hotel adds tea-twist to menu with Taylors of Harrogate

Leeds City Centre’s newest luxury hotel, the Dakota Deluxe, is adding a tea-based twist to its cocktail menu to mark the start of its partnership with Taylors of Harrogate.

The hotel, which has opened on Russell Street, has chosen the tea expert to deliver a range of its speciality teas, which will be served to guests across the hotel, including limited edition cocktails at its bar and grill.

Dakota Deluxe’s bartenders will be encouraging guests to try Taylors of Harrogate’s tea-infused cocktails, which are based on its best-selling Rose Lemonade infusion. Guests will be able to enjoy the drinks, which include Rose and Raspberry Iced Tea and Cucumber and Rose Lemonade Cooler, at the hotel’s main bar.

Joe Harper, beverage manager, Dakota Deluxe Leeds Hotel, said: “Taylors of Harrogate and Dakota Deluxe are the perfect brand alignment in terms of quality so the partnership seemed an obvious choice for us.

“Our owners are also Yorkshire-based and we firmly believe we should support regional suppliers, such as Taylors of Harrogate, throughout our hotels where we can.”

Dakota Deluxe guests will also be able to choose from a range of Taylors of Harrogate’s most popular tea blends, including Organic Chamomile, Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Decaffeinated Breakfast, Organic Peppermint and a selection of delicious green teas.

The teas will be permanently available in all bedrooms and served at the hotel’s bar and grill.

Natalie Cross, out of home account manager, Taylors of Harrogate, said: “We are delighted to be working with Dakota Deluxe to supply a range of our speciality teas. We pride ourselves on strong customer relationships and supporting our customers in tailoring their tea menus to suit their guests and overall offerings.

“Our teas are very versatile and bursting with flavour;. our best-selling fruit infusions taste just as delicious cold as they do hot and make a great base for a fruity cocktail. The Rose Lemonade limited edition cocktails will be a great addition to the Dakota menu.”
