Property professionals from across the region have booked their places at an event featuring Town Centre Securities’ group property director Richard Lewis.

The lunch, in association with law firm Freeths, will be held at 12pm on Friday September 29 at Bibis Italian restaurant on Sovereign Street.

After lunch, Lewis will discuss the development and growth of property investment and development company Town Centre Securities, of which he has been a part of since 2000, as well as the growth of Leeds City Centre, including TCS’s Whitehall Riverside development.

As a great believer in public/private partnerships, Lewis has been one of the founding members of both the Piccadilly Partnership in Manchester, and now sits on the CityCo Board and is a former member of the Property Forum in Leeds, playing a significant role in establishing the first Leeds BID.

He was awarded a lifetime achievement award at the Leeds Property Awards in 2016 for his contribution to regeneration in the city and is actively involved in a number of charities including LionHeart, the support group for RICS members and their families where he is chairman of the Trustees.

TCS has a property portfolio of around £350m which is mainly located in Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London suburbs.

It owns sites in Leeds including Merrion Centre in Leeds, which consists of 1 million sq ft of retail space, and Buckley House on Vicar Lane adjacent to the Victoria Gate development.
