Tenants confirmed at speculatively developed warehouse unit

Two tenants have signed up to a speculatively developed industrial warehouse in South Yorkshire.

Commercial Property Partners LLP (CPP) secured the deals for Watervole Way at First Point Business Park in Doncaster.

Specialists in the safe transportation of glass, cans and PET-containers, Cartonplast Group will relocate its UK base from Shaw Lane Industrial Estate to the warehouse.

Cartonplast Group will move into the 44,500 sq ft unit, with S&G Alfab, aluminium fabrications manufacturers, occupying the remaining 20,000 sq ft. The new tenants have signed 10 and eight year leases respectively.

Home to Amazon, Victoria Plum, and close to the iPort development, First Point Business Park is located near unction 3 of the M18.

Toby Vernon at CPP said: “We are delighted to see this speculatively developed unit fully let in just three months following its completion in April this year. This is indicative of the latent demand for high quality industrial schemes in the area; our client’s decision to speculatively build on the site is an encouraging sign for the market in the region which is currently suffering from a shortage of good quality units across all size ranges.”

Barnsdales were joint agents on the scheme.
