Sizzling summer for law firm as it records £900m deals value

The corporate team at Leeds-based law firm Walker Morris has  completed seventeen deals with a total value of more than £900m since May.

The firm has advised on a number of major deals over the summer including Pelsis on the multimillion-pound management buyout backed by LDC, and eProcurement solutions specialists PROACTIS on its multijurisdictional acquisition of Perfect Commerce and associated equity fundraisings and AIM admissions.

It advised private equity firm Endless and the management team on its sale of Imtech UK, an engineering services company, to EDF Energy Services.

The also advised Endless and management on the sale of leading British pork supplier Karro Food group to CapVest Partners.

Other deals include advising Non-Standard Finance on its acquisition of personal loans business George Banco, the management team of leading food intolerance testing specialists YorkTest Laboratories on an investment by Key Capital Partners, and more recently BGF on its investment in restaurant and deli chain Filmore & Union.
