CPP relocates York office to Leeds

Credit card insurance group CPP has relocated from its York base to one of Leeds’ largest office refurbishments.

The firm has signed a deal at 6 East Parade on a 10 year lease for 8,008 sq ft of space on the third floor of the building.

CPP’s Leeds office will be occupied by 35 staff.

This latest deal follows the 13,886 sq ft letting on the top two floors to global communications agency Dentsu Aegis Network, which completed last year and fitted out by CBRE’s Leeds building consultancy team.

6 East Parade offers a total of 45,638 sq ft of office space with 23,744 sq ft remaining to let and follows a £3.5m investment programme by the joint venture partnership of Bridges Fund Management, the specialist sustainable and impact investor, and Evenacre.

Jason Walsh, CEO, CPP, said: “Moving the group’s corporate centre to Leeds is an important step in our ongoing transformation programme.  Being located in the city centre will give us all the benefits that Leeds can offer, from excellent access to talent in the marketplace to being in the middle of the fastest growing financial services and technology centre in the north of England.

“The office will provide a fresh and energetic working environment which will help us to create the right culture to take our business to the next stage of its development.”

Alex Hailey, associate director of CBRE’s office agency team said, said: “We are delighted to secure CPP on the third floor of 6 East Parade, which is one of the finest business addresses in Leeds, ideally situated within the traditional commercial and financial core.

“The restoration of this building is superb and the creative finishes are designed to deliver a great first impression.  It offers an enviable working environment, providing the perfect experience for  staff, attracting potential employees and customers alike.”

Joint agents are CBRE and Savills.
