2018 Crypt Factor ready to make plenty of noise

Budding singers working in the region’s property industry who want to take to the stage, reveal their hidden talents and help raise thousands of pounds for two local charities are being invited to enter 2018 Crypt Factor.

The popular event will take place on March 1 at Elland Road. Tables for the annual singing competition are on sale now, with only a handful of tables remaining.

The show’s organising committee and main sponsors, Bruntwood, Gent Visick and Pinsent Masons, are now looking for solo singers, as well as girl and boy bands, to complete the line-up of acts.

Over the last 11 years, Crypt Factor has raised more than £580,000 for charity, and the proceeds from next year’s event will again be shared equally between St George’s Crypt and The Leeds Fund, which is managed by Leeds Community Foundation.

TheBusinessDesk.com is the event’s official media partner and additional support is provided by Candid PR, Saville Audio Visual and Anderson Advertising & Property Marketing.

Garry Howes from Gent Visick, says: “Every year the Crypt Factor is a spectacular event and a key date in the property industry’s calendar, as well as being one of the North of England’s most successful and memorable fund-raising evenings.”

“We already have some great singers confirmed and just need a couple more to complete our line-up. Anyone can take part, regardless of whether they’ve been on stage before. It’s an opportunity not to be passed over! Everyone on the organising committee has performed in previous Crypt Factors, so we can provide lots of help and guidance to help settle any nerves and perform on the night.”

Last year’s event was won by boyband Out of Sync which consisted of Oliver Stainsby, Sam Jamieson, James Boothroyd, James Pank and Tom Hodgson, who put on a performance of ‘Everybody’ by the Back Street Boys in front of an 850-strong audience.

Anyone wanting further information about Crypt Factor, to express an interest in singing, or reserve a table, should contact emma.laverty@bruntwood.co.uk or follow the event on twitter @cryptfactor.
