Next stage for the office complex to be vacated by 450-strong team

The managing director of the firm which owns Holly Park Mills, which Zenith is vacating to move to the new £400m One Kirkstall Forge development, has spoken to TheBusinessDesk.com about “life after Zenith.”

Zenith started up with just four people in Holly Park Mill in Calverley around 28 years and outgrew their space after scaling up to employ around 450 people – all of whom are moving to Kirkstall Forge.

Holly Parks Mills dates back to 1866, when weaving, spinning and finishing services were completed for the textile industry. Graham Yaffe, managing director of  Anglia Textiles, which own the complex, said that there was life after Zenith but called for rates to be reduced as at the current costs they could have a detrimental impact on independent businesses.

He said: “We are delighted to have an award winning design company who are relocating from nearby to the Holly Park Mill ‘Fabric House’ which comprises of 5,500 square feet of offices, studio and meeting rooms.

“We have an established Commercial Photographer who has agreed to take the ground floor of Holly Park Mill’s ‘Scribbling House’ for their new Studio and offices.

“In addition we are imminently expecting the arrival of the accounts department for a IT Channel Focused Company based in Wetherby who will be working out of the Mill.”

The four story Anglia House which housed Zenith Vehicles will be available to let from next May.
