As a very busy year draws to a close for the festive break, TheBusinessDesk.com would like to wish all readers across the Yorkshire a region a Merry Christmas and happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

Our offices will close over the festive period, re-opening on 2 January refreshed and ready to be at the forefront of publishing business news throughout 2018. Our first email of the New Year will be sent on January 3.

While there have been many external challenges for businesses across this region and beyond in 2017, many firms across the patch have secured some of the biggest deals of recent years against this backdrop. A real testament to showing true “Yorkshire grit” in order to help the region’s economy thrive, attracting and retaining the right investment levels to showcase Yorkshire on a national and international level.

During 2018, TheBusinessDesk.com’s focus on news will continue and we will be hosting a variety of events right across the region. Our Business Masters Awards in April and Rainmakers in June being just two which we are looking forward to already to celebrate the achievements of businesses and individuals.
