Waste management firm scoops £30m council contract

Recycling and waste management firm Biowise, based in Hull, has secured a 15-year contract worth £30m for the treatment of organic waste in a deal with with Cheshire East Council. Biowise will provide an organic waste treatment solution for the council, which has expanded its current household organic waste collection service to include food waste.
