IT specialist The Dynamic Networks Group has revealed plans to double the number of apprentices within the business in 2018.

It said The Dynamic Academy, the trainee and apprenticeship scheme, will enable the IT, cyber security, networks and automation business to expand its team in line with a fast growing client base.

Dynamic Group CEO James Baird’s aim is to give apprentices the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff, which will enable them to quickly learn hands-on, job-specific skills that they can continue to develop alongside their academic studies.

Leeds-based The Dynamic Networks Group currently employs five apprentices within its 43-strong team across IT, cyber security, networks and automation departments.

Baird says: “I am a firm believer in hiring for attitude over aptitude. Finding people who are enthusiastic and committed to learning will thrive here, because we give them the support they need to develop their skills.
“Ours is a fast growing business with plenty of opportunities for the right people to learn and grow. This approach has been working incredibly well for us in some parts of the business, and we’re keen to expand it across all areas and departments in 2018.”
