A Leeds-based online fitness retailer is growing rapidly in its key export markets in the USA and Australia and is to create 20 jobs to support its expansion.

Roar Ambition, which offers a range of fitness products that include sports supplements, was founded by entrepreneur Robert Parker in 2012.

All UK products are formulated and manufactured in Yorkshire and the company is also ramping up production in the USA to meet growing demand with almost two-thirds of Roar Ambition’s products sold to the US market.

Parker said: “Our brand is built on high performance and we’ve built a working culture that reflects it. We free our team members to be entrepreneurial. They pursue great ideas both in and outside work. I firmly believe that globally successful online businesses are built with motivated and creative people, and we work hard to create an environment that attracts and nurtures talent.”

The company is recruiting people with digital skills spanning copywriters, content marketers, developers and SEO specialists.
