Leeds engineering firm appointed to Liverpool Waterfront Development

Tate Consulting in Leeds has been appointed by Moda Living building services for Liverpool’s The Lexington Princess Dock development.

The waterfront scheme will comprise 325 rental apartments and is part of a £5.5bn Liverpool Waters regeneration plan.

Jeff Bearcroft, managing director of Tate Consulting, said: “The Lexington will offer beautiful apartments in a highly sought after location, with views over the River Mersey. Liverpool Waters is an important project for the city and one of Europe’s largest redevelopment projects, so we are excited to be part of it.”

The Lexington project is named after the New York-inspired building and forms part of the Peel Group’s Liverpool Waters plans for regenerating the area and overlooks the docks that first kick-started Liverpool’s growth.

Tate’s previous work with Moda Living includes 515 rental apartments in Leeds, and 466 rental apartments in Manchester, which will be completed in January 2019.
