Law firm’s Yorkshire construction team leads contract win with global engineering company

The Leeds construction team at law firm Gateley has secured a global engineering company, which has worked on landmarks including London’s Gherkin building and the staging and acoustics of Sydney Opera House, as a client.

Gateley has been named as the UK legal advisor to Waagner-Biro Stahlbau AG. The construction team in Gateley’s Leeds office led the win following a competitive tender with a number of city law firms.

With its HQ in Vienna, the group has more than 1,000 employees in 15 locations across Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Waagner-Biro Stahlbau AG work on cutting-edge projects, including the roof of the British Museum and the Yas Marina Hotel in Abu Dhabi which is located in the middle of the Formula One track.
