Brands join Fashion Ball catwalk to bring together business and fashion

Around 80 people from some of the region’s top businesses have signed up to model at a catwalk show showcasing the leading fashion brands and designers.

Brands including Ted Baker, French Connection, House of Fraser, Coast, Jigsaw, Michael Kors, Oasis, Hawes & Curtis, Karen Millen, Armani, Hugo Boss, Guess and Max Mara will be modelled by well-known people across the region. TheBusinessDesk.com is a media partner for the event.

Businesses taking part in this year’s event  – to be held at the New Dock, Leeds, on 17 May – include Reward Finance Group, Irwin Mitchell, Deloitte, Ernst and Young, Barclays, Sanderson Weatherall, Addleshaw Goddard, Intelligent Delivery Solutions, Walker Morris, Lloyds, BHP, HSBC, Squire Patton Boggs, PwC to name a few.

Organiser Lisa Darwin said:  “The FB Fashion Ball has been an annual highlight in the corporate calendar for the past 21 years, and this year we wanted to create a bigger and better event with a breath taking show like no other and I think we have managed to achieve this. By asking our fabulous models and their firms to be involved and support the many worthy causes we are supporting this year 20+ charities as each model is strutting for their chosen charity.

“The glitzy black-tie event will be a fantastic networking opportunity for the hundreds of guests attending but offers a full evening of entertainment with prizes.”

As well as the catwalk show, the evening will feature the newly created FB Business & Lifestyle Awards which celebrate the region’s businesses, individuals and brands.
