Listed IT firm secures four-year health and social care contract

Listed IT firm Redcentric has been confirmed as the preferred supplier for Health and Social Care Network (HSCN) and Public Services Network (PSN) services to the Yorkshire and Humber region.

The framework agreement covers local authorities, emergency services, transport and health sectors and will include connectivity to the new Health and Social Care Network and Public Services Network. It has been secured for four years and has the potential to add up to £15m to £20m of incremental revenue per year.

Redcentric will be providing connectivity services on its network, which means that a total of 65 organisations will be able to connect up to 3,000 of their sites through Redcentric, rationalising their existing infrastructure and achieving savings.

Redcentric expects to deliver between £1m and £3m of revenue from the framework in the current financial year and expect this to increase over the life of the agreement as services are mobilised and rolled-out across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Chris Jagusz, chief executive of Redcentric, said: “We are proud to have been awarded this framework, it is a great example of a flexible and collaborative partnership between public and private sectors.  It also demonstrates Redcentric’s credentials as a trusted and reliable technology partner.”
