Weekender: Hat trick of new destinations launched from Leeds Bradford Airport

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced further details of its Summer 19 programme, with the launch of another three destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport – Bourgas (Bulgaria), Chania in Crete and Izmir (Turkey).

The news follows the recent launch of summer flights to Krakow.

From May 2019, the company will operate a weekly Wednesday service to Bourgas.

Meanwhile, the launch of a route to Chania, which operates every Sunday, gives holidaymakers access to the northwest coast of Crete, opening up blue flag beaches and historic sights in resorts such as Rethymnon, Aghia Marina, Chania Town, Kalyves, Stalos and Kolymbari.

Flight to Izmir have been added in response “to the huge demand for great value package holidays”, the travel company said.
