Insurance firm announces latest acquisition
Insurance broker McClarrons is adding a third premises to its business after acquiring a firm in Whitby.
Following the opening of its new office in Richmond last summer, Malton-based McClarrons has now purchased Chapmans Insurance Consultants.
The acquisition is part of the broker’s ambitious growth plans, which have included 12 new hires in the past year, including team members serving Bristol, Leicestershire and Durham remotely, the launch of a specialist agricultural motor trade product – AgriTrade, and a newly formed art and private clients offering.
Director Sean McClarron said: “We are very excited to be announcing the acquisition of Chapmans Insurance Consultants, whose service values and ethos are very closely aligned with our own.
“We’re growing steadily at McClarrons, and we’re really looking forward to working with new clients across Yorkshire, offering them the high-standard of specialist advice and service we pride ourselves on.”
Former director Vaughan Marshall and account handler Jane Beaumont of Chapmans Insurance Consultants, will continue to offer their expertise following the acquisition.
