Weekender: Yorkshire Dales holiday lodge park set to open after £12m investment

Holiday park company, Leisure Resorts, is launching a brand-new development in the Yorkshire Dales this after a £12m investment.

The opening of the new sites is creating 35 jobs and is the firm’s first foray into the burgeoning lodge rental market – also supporting in inbound tourism for the region.

Aysgarth Lodge Holidays is the first to benefit from the brand’s new positioning and investment approach, offering guests the ultimate retreat. All of Leisure Resorts sites are now available to book via Hoseasons.

The development comprises of 75 holiday lodges set within 33 acres of North Yorkshire’s landscape. .

 

 

 

Gary Molloy, managing director at Leisure Resorts, said: “For too long time park holidays have been perceived as a cheap and lower quality choice. Aysgarth is our first-step to proving that need not be the case, placing exceptional, purpose-built, individual lodges within the most beautiful of settings which is finely equipped.
