Furniture brand chooses Sheffield to open first store outside of London

Turkish contemporary living company Bellona has chosen to locate a new store in Sheffield for a £1m investment which is set to create more than 20 new jobs.

The company, which already has 1,000 stores worldwide, is opening the store as part of multi-million-pound expansion programme which will roll out additional new outlets across North America, Europe, Middle East, Russia and former Soviet Republics.

Bellona was originally founded in 1997 and its new store on Lovell Street will open tomorrow.  Neslihan Pekin, senior manager for the new Sheffield store, said: “We already have a strong customer base in Sheffield and believe this is a forward looking city that we can have a great future relationship with.

“The reactions to have our products has been brilliant so far and I’m looking forward to seeing our designs becoming a mainstay of homes right across the region.W
