North Yorkshire caravan park sold

A 3.6 acre static and touring caravan park in North Yorkshire countryside has sold with a guide price of £1.29m.

Property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has sold Wrens of Ryedale, which is on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park just outside the village of Beadlam.

The park is developed over 3.6 acres and is developed with privately owned static caravans and seasonal touring caravans. There is significant scope for further development of the park with existing planning permission for 32 static and 30 touring caravans.

Adam Burkinshaw, holiday and caravan park specialist, said:  “Wrens of Ryedale attracted a great deal of interest, largely due to the high quality development and immaculate presentation of the park.  It is also located in a highly sought after location, close to Helmsley on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.

“The vendors has operated the park for over 12 years during which time they had continually improved, upgraded and maintained the very high standards of the park and facilities. Marketed with a Guide Price of £1.29M, it was very pleasing to conclude a sale to a new entrant to the caravan park sector, demonstrating the continued appeal and demand of this exciting sector. ”

The caravan park market is continuing to take advantage of the strong trading conditions and Sanderson Weatherall have already completed on the sale of 10 parks since the start of the year.
