Weekender: Tour de Yorkshire captured in computer game

The Pro Cycling Manager series is the world’s bestselling cycling simulation

Fans of the Tour de Yorkshire will now be able to recreate the drama of this year’s race in a computer game.

The race, which attracted huge crowds, now features in the Pro Cycling Manager 2018 computer game, the world’s bestselling cycling simulation.

The game is available on PC computers as well as the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

For the first time, the 2018 edition will feature all four stages of this year’s race and include realistic simulations of many of the Yorkshire landmarks which featured on the route.

The aim of the game is to take control of one of the world’s top cycling teams and guide them to success by making shrewd signings, devising top training regimes and making decisive, race-winning moves.

“Once they’ve sampled the delights of Yorkshire in virtual form, we hope they will want to come and sample our magnificent routes for themselves and take in more of what our great county has to offer.
