Work on speculative industrial scheme set to start

Work is set to get underway on a speculative development of two industrial and distribution buildings at Nimbus Park in Doncaster.

Construction of the buildings, measuring 164,000 sq ft and 106,202 sq ft, will start later this month, with completion scheduled for March 2019.

Sladen Estates and Peveril Securities have appointed Bowmer & Kirkland as main contractor.

“It is great to see activity on Nimbus Park, with the development of two high quality buildings at a time when there is increased occupier demand and focus on the South Yorkshire market,” said Rachel Wood of Sladen Estates.

“Regional and national occupiers appreciate the benefits that Doncaster has to offer – particularly Thorne – due to the excellent labour availability.

“With the likes of The Range and BMW choosing to locate in Thorne for their national distribution hubs it demonstrates the strength of the location and it is a trend we only see continuing as other occupiers look towards the area,” added Wood.

CPP and Moriarty & Co are retained as agents for the buildings which are available on a leasehold basis.
