Property experts to share their views on Sheffield and York marketplaces

TheBusinessDesk.com is preparing to host property lunches in both Sheffield and York, with experts and leading figures in each marketplace sharing updates on major schemes and the opportunities and threats that lie ahead.

Sheffield Property Professionals Lunch 

As chief executive of CTP, David Topham has overseen commercial schemes of major scale designed and delivered right across the north. He will speak at our Sheffield Property Professional Lunch on September 21.

Topham will discuss in particular the Yorkshire marketplace in recent times and the impact this has had on commercial developments. Principal projects that he and his team have been involved with have included St Paul’s Place in Sheffield. This most recently included 3 St Paul’s Place, which comprises of 80,000 sq ft of prime Grade A office space and completed the award-winning £180m Heart of the City project as part of the city’s transformation.

York Property Professionals Lunch 

At our Property Professionals Lunch in York on October 11, two leading experts will share their overviews and opinions of the York and North Yorkshire commercial property market and provide updates on key developments.

Speakers will be Nick Moody, a founding partner of Harrogate-based property development firm Newby, and Jonathan Shires, a senior director at CBRE.

Newby is a firm which focuses on a range of regeneration projects and names the Cocoa West and Ryedale House schemes among those it is currently leading on.

Shires been instrumental in securing major relocations and new operations for a host of major organisations, notably Hiscox’s pioneering £19m offices in the Hungate area of York.
