Six figure investment and new HQ for services provider

Hollinbay, a managed services provider, has announced a £250,000 investment, along with a move to new headquarters to support its next phase of growth.

The significant private investment is driving a new business model designed to support the changing workplace technology landscape as it becomes more intricate and regulated.

It has moved from its Yeadon base to new headquarters in Morley, Leeds, which it said put the firm “in a better geographical location” to pursue opportunities outside the West Yorkshire area, as well as to drive the new direction from a modern space.

Hollinbay, which has been trading for 24 years and employs 17 people, has also carried out a brand review and launched a refreshed brand image. Louise Harder has also joined the board of directors.

Hollinbay’s managing director Robert Harder said: “We recognise that the IT support and technology needs of our customers are changing so have transformed the structure of our business to transition with them. Our new brand direction and location are the first steps towards doing that, and we believe it makes our dedication to being innovative and technologically advanced while retaining our excellent customer service reputation crystal clear.

“Today’s IT industry is fast-paced, with new innovations coming to market almost weekly and the very real threat of cybersecurity looming over all businesses. Not only has this investment enabled us to move to a better location, but it has also allowed us to expand our technical knowledge by recruiting new members of staff like Louise who have specific areas of expertise, as well as investing in our existing people, so we can be sure we’re doing everything in our power to make IT work for our customers.”

Harder brings over 30 years’ experience in marketing communications, specialising in branding for the last 15 years, as she has worked with some of the UK’s largest brands. She said: “I am delighted to have joined Hollinbay at what is a very exciting time for the business. My appointment reflects the board’s commitment to building a strong and competitive brand in the marketplace.”
